Hi,

This seems to be a nice blog.... u have a good thought process and also the ability to engage the reader.... ur description about trichy was simply superb... i am a native of trichy and right now i am in trichy.... this town is very close to my heart.... soon i will be moving to chennai for my career commitments, but in the long run i am planning to start an IT company at trichy (as u pointed if IT takes off). Unlike other metros, here u have an essential commodity - peace!! Thanx for the nice blog....do update it regularly if u find time....

So I sort of bumped into this off a LinkedIn discussion question and saw your evaluation of e-Load. I would full expect e-Load (or any load testing tool for that matter) to correclty generate more that 100 sessions for 100 users during a load test. Most default scripting by all tools is to generate one session per iteration per virtual user of the script unless the script is set up in a modular way (login and logout in a preamble and post run respectively) to maintain a current session. Is this really a surprise in your evaluation to have correct behavior for a system level test (I would have different expectations for a component level test)?

My expectation of any load testing tool (and I have run many over the last 17 years) is that unless I tell it to it will open up at least 100 connections and generate over 100 sessions during a sample 100 vu load test.

I would be interested to hear how you configured your load test and why, based on that configuration, you are surprised at the result.

On a separate note, I agree with your findings on the Selenium project. There are some great automated regression components and the future looks really bright for that platform. It is very excting to watch the evolution of the platform as well as to use it for testing

That's my two cents anyhow

Real estate in India is now a safe destination for potential investors. Service apartments or Fully-furnished houses are preferred choices of long-stay executives, foreigners, Non Resident Indians and other frequent travelers to India. These properties offer all the convenience of a hotel with the privacy and comfort of home. Whether the person is a business traveler or holiday maker, looking for more than just a regular hotel room, a service apartment is the cost benefit alternative. Giving people more space, more privacy and at a cheaper rate, most of these apartments can be available either for a day or for a year.Investing in immovable property in India is no more a tough task with difficulties due to a combination of factors. A meticulous planning at the initial investment stage can make the whole process lucid. While on the road way of making investment in this growing market, people are advised to do research online on the real estate market. Extensive research ensures that the investment has been right and in time to come and will allow a good return. Foreign resident of Indian Origin can also invest in this sector. Such investors are advised to discuss the conditions governing purchase and sale of immovable property by Non-Resident Indians and persons of Indian origin before they start their investment venture.RBI grants permission to foreign citizens of Indian origin to invest in local funds in real estate on submission of necessary applications provided such investments are for use of residence. For more view- realtydigest.blogspot.com

Raj

Did you try to do anything beyond the basic demos with RichFaces? I've been trying to use RichFaces in a JSF/Seam project with mixed success.
