Kavin’s 4th Birthday

Today was Kavin’s 4th birthday. Although I wanted to keep it a low key affair this year(no guests, no decorations/balloons/confetti etc), I wanted to make sure Kavin thoroughly enjoyed his big day. We ordered a “Tres Leche” cake with Cars movie theme (with a Lightning McQueen toy on it). I left from work early and picked up the cake from Safeway. Kavin was totally excited when he looked at the cake. After cutting the cake, and a few snaps later, we went to the Livermore temple and then to Chuck E Cheese. He tried almost every game/ride there. Had dinner at Sugandh in Pleasanton and by the time we came home, he started sleeping in the car. I am sure he had a blast of a day today.

I missed my dad a lot. He was with us last year for Kavin’s 3rd birthday party. I am sure his blessings are always there for the little fella.
